A narrow-gauge railway ran here between Zell im Wiesental and Todtnau until 1967. Now a bike path, the route makes for an excellent ride into the Wiese Valley via Riehen or to Ba-sel. From Riehen, you can take the regional train (S6) to Zell. After arriving in Zell, the route leads past the must-see textile museum, Hebelbaus in Hausen, the town centre of Schopfheim and the ruins of R\u00f6tteln Castle outside L\u00f6rrach, before crossing the Swiss border in Riehen. The last section goes through the Wiese Landscape Park, with plenty of places to rest and dip your toes in the Wiese.<\/p>\r\n

The main street of Weil am Rhein starts here and the route follows it to Lindenplatz. Take a right onto Bl\u00e4siring and left onto Domhofstrasse, a road lined with linden trees, continuing along the cemetery to reach Breslauer Strasse. The tour now takes a left and a right again onto Weilweg, a country lane. Continue between gardens, fields and meadows until turning left onto the B34 after around 500 metres.
